This specification covers the requirements for material certifications, and addresses relevant terminology that has been cause of significant confusion in the woven wire cloth industry. The clarification of definitions prevents potentially incorrect interpretations by establishing distinct meanings. Different types of certifications that can be supplied are detailed; including simple certifications of compliance to more comprehensive certifications that include chemistry, country of melt origin or DFARS compliance. |
